Doodles, Review and a youtube video!!

Chucky!
This is a drawing I got
really lazy with and have
not yet finished!
DOODLES!! :D
Doodling is so much fun to get the creative juices going!

I've recently became obsessed with certain Anime series and the odd movie here and there so they are what inspired my messy doodles :)

And here you can view a really badly shot gaming video I made... REALLY badly shot haha, I used my phone in one hand while trying to play my game in the other... But it was fun all the same :D

Mesh Scarf #2

This is my second time to make a scarf, this time I went with a plain mesh yarn with no balls for design. I'm not too happy with this one, in fact it didn't turn out as well as I thought it would but I think that's due to me being over confident, my first one turned out so well that I rushed this one. In saying all of that though I did get great response over this one, I also got asked to make more for a couple of people which is extremely good for me considering I have the knitting bug now and my wardrobe is getting way too full!

Well I hope you guy's like this one because there's many more scarves to come haha. ;)

Feeling Nostalgic

I got looking at all this stuff this morning and I felt I had to share it here, after all this is my personal blog! These things mean a great deal to me and some of it is a big part of who I used to be as a kid and what I have grown from.

As you can see I couldn't draw to well back then, but looking back at it all I actually like it :) Don't know why I ever decided to draw in pen though! These images are from the ages between 12-16. Growing up I loved to write in journals, I had stacks of them literally and me and friends covered all of our diaries in clippings of our favourite bands and what not. The 3rd and 4th images are of a "Letter Book" I have kept over the years which contains almost every single letter my boyfriend wrote to me over a two year period when we lived 6 hours away from each other.

Well that's my little rant down memory lane over haha, Bye until my next post and HAPPY PIG OUT ON CHOCOLATE DAY!!! :D

My 3 attempts at drawing my BF in my style at 14 and 16 haha :)

My coolio Kerrang (Slash) book, I fricking went mental when I seen this in Virgin back then, I made a hugely over reacting scene in the middle of the shop! lol

Hand Made Spiral Mesh Scarf

Hay everyone!
This is a spiral mesh scarf I started last night and finished today.
I have never done anything like this before, in fact I recently just took up knitting.

I'm proud of this piece because I accomplished my goal on my first try.
I made this scarf using net-yarn (Mesh) using 6 and a half mm needles, Some people
prefer using smaller needles like 4 and 5 mm but I think it just complicates things especially
if your only starting out. If any of you like my scarf I'd love to hear from you! Its very
easy once you get passed the trickiness of the wide netting, so don't be afraid
to try this yourself at home!

Carolyn's Handmade Bouquet's

These lovely flowers are (Homemade) artificial Bouquet's By Carolyn Robinson.
Carolyn has just started to manufacture these beautiful display pieces ALL by hand using a mixture of imagination and creative ingenuity.

This is the first time Carolyn has revealed these amazing flowers to the public, and each time I see a new piece the more they blow my mind, they have to be one of the most original pieces of art I have came across in a very long time.

If you would like to contact Carolyn regarding these pieces you can catch her on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/#!/carolyn.robinson.54922169  and Twitter!  @cruthrobinson

Homemade Jewelery

Hay all,
I recently got very interested in the idea of making homemade jewelery
so I started today, and while it didn't turn out how I wanted, I'm just going
to keep at it anyway.

I went to an arts&crafts shop and got beads, earring stud and backs, a jewelry cutting pliers and
craft wire, which I'll be honest is very hard to use. don't get me wrong,
bending and shaping it is easy but once you get a shape (Spiral) etc, its
difficult to keep it when straightening out the rest of the wire.

I read online that its sometimes easier to work with Paper clips, so i might
try that next.

Button earrings made with purple craft wire

Button bracelet made with elastic fabric
band and buttons from a craft store

The spiral earring on the right didn't turn out,
and I still have to make the other one
